The largest ALL CUSTOM knife show in Texas! Featuring bladesmiths and knifemakers from across the country - from Master Smiths to next generation makers! Knife Magazine called it “The Modern Knife Show Experience!” (Nov. ‘24) Cowboy Szymanski (1st season of Forged in Fire) invites the public to meet and interact with many of his fellow Forged in Fire competitors! ABS Mastersmith and Forged in Fire Judge J. Neilson will be here to meet the fans and demonstrate the “Anatomy of an Anvil” - hammering techniques for getting the most out of your anvil! This family friendly event is hosted by Phenix Knives at the Austin County Fair Convention and Expo Center. Admission is $10 at the door; $5 for kids age 10 and under. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet many Forged in Fire notable bladesmiths, visit with them about their work and purchase custom pieces, get pictures and autographs, as well as try your hand at some forging with the pros. Throw tomahawks with BraveHawk Forge for a chance to win a custom forged hawk! Bid on custom pieces during the auction, and cheer for your favorites during the Chopping Competition Tournament each day! And don’t miss your chance to bid on the opportunity to test out a sword on a real Ballistic Dummy! Phenix Knives is donating a custom forged knife to the local Bellville Engineering, Science & Technology Booster Club which will be raffled off at the event to benefit their summer science camp and scholarship fund. Raffle tickets can be purchased from BEST Boosters at the Texas Select event.
