This upcoming Saturday, Jan 10, be sure to join us as we discuss the Fredonian Rebellion in our monthly Second Saturdays with Steve program! Austin's Militia was called upon once by Mexico to help quell a rebellion in northeast Texas. But why did the rebellion start? Come join us for our program at the following times: 12:30pm at Stephen F. Austin State Park - Texas Parks and Wildlife in the Nature Center 2:30pm at San Felipe de Austin State Historic Site in the Old 300 Learning Hall Admission is required to attend the program at either location.
