Learn how local plants have been used for food, healing, and survival throughout history. Ranger-led discussions will help you identify these plants and understand their uses.

Where: Meet at the RV Loop Restrooms
Bring: Water, closed-toed shoes, bug spray, sunscreen, dress for the weather, and a notebook for taking notes on plants you might encounter.
Additional Info: Participants limited to 30 for this event. Show up early to secure your spot. First come, First Serve. This family-friendly event is a great opportunity to learn about the local flora in a fun, educational setting!
The program is included with the purchase of a Daily Entrance pass. Adults are $5 per person, Children 12 and under are no charge. Texas State Park Pass holders admitted free of charge!
